MONDAY 3rd FEBRUARY 2003
‘Droit De Seigneur’ Magazine Shoot
I was meant to leave for Brockehert today to shoot with another model,
Catherine McQueen, but for some reason she can’t make it? We may have
to shoot next weekend now. Sh*t, just realised it is my mates Birthday
next weekend, and she won’t be happy!
TUESDAY 4th FEBRUARY 2003
In the studio getting a copy of my last tune from Phoenix, I’m using his
studio in South-East, which I really like and feel at home when I’m there.
I get a call from my model agency saying I might have to fly to Spain
later that night as the option is still on from the casting on the 13th
January. It is basically between me and another girl from Paris. The people
producing the commercial cast all over for this job, so I think I’m probably
not going to get it, ok, let’s be positive, I think I AM going to get
it! I rush home to meet a friend and Kate (my model booker) calls and
say’s I HAVE got the job! Great - I wanted it! I pack and remove unwanted
hair. My flight is in 6 hours so I try to sleep a bit, but can’t, up at
2.45am.
WEDNESDAY 5th FEBRUARY 2003
Gang Films - Clear - Director Diego Kapium
A Commercial Shot Like a Small Film to be Shown on TV / Internet in Portugal
/ Greece / Italy
DAY 1
Fly to Barcelona then on to Palma, Mallorca now I’m real tired, it’s 10.00am
and I haven’t slept yet. I can’t find the person meeting me so I just
wait at the airport. She eventually finds me and we’re off to a cave.
It’s real cold, but I’m happy to be in Spain. The cave is a long walk
from the beach and my 3 inch heals have to come off. There are 40 extras
all looking very authentic. I meet the other actor - Benjamin. He is French,
in fact, most of the crew are French, although, some are Spanish. I recall
some French from when I was 16 and working in Paris, but not much, so
I don’t really understand. Its times like this you just get to sit quietly
and think.
Filming goes really well, although my body feels like
an ice cube and there is no toilet so you have to pee outside! The Makeup
Artist, Christof, spends most of the day putting fake mud on my face,
legs and chest, which I don’t mind because he is not into women anyway!
My hair is now a real big afro with twigs in it! The cave is amazing,
apparently it used to be a club but the heat made the rocks fall down
and loads of people died. I see the rocks in the corner and wonder who
they were? They have built a kind of shrine to the people, and as I walk
around I see the names of those who died. There is a gate which is locked;
it is old and rusty, almost medieval. I look inside and see they have
made it into a small Church. There are faces engraved into the wall as
if they are trapped souls and I wonder if they are buried inside. It is
dark outside and I also wonder how I am going to get back down the cliff!

DAY 2
Up at 6.00am. I slept real well, although I still have loads of fake mud
on my body, it won’t come off. Arrive at the cave and get the mud put
back on, my hair is also back combed again. Some of the shots require
a stunt man to help me. Yesterday I swung a man over my head and today
I must drag Benjamin across the cave which is real hard but we manage
to get the shot. The director, Diego, is great and so easy to work with
in fact everyone here is nice. My body fells like ice so I have some soup,
which then makes me sick!

DAY 3
I wake up to the noise of sex. I assume it is the actor next door as his
girlfriend arrived last night. Umm, could do with some myself, but I’m
here alone and still single. So I get up and have a bath, pack my things,
still not feeling well. I hang about until my Taxi arrives to take me
to the airport. I love Spain but I can’t wait to see Berria and Betsie.
It is Betsie’s birthday and we are going out tomorrow night to celebrate.
I arrive at the airport and find I have lost my Boarding Pass somewhere
in duty free - actually I think a man stole it. I manage to persuade the
security men to let me through without a Boarding Pass. My flight is being
called so I run down to the Boarding Gate. On reaching it, a stupid man
will not let me onto the flight without a Boarding Pass, and won’t even
ring the Ticket Desk to confirm that I am genuine. He insists I go back
to the ticket Desk myself, even though my flight is about to leave. So
I try to the leave the Boarding Gate but the security men there will not
let me out - so I am in a catch 22 situation! Strangely enough, I find
the whole scenario quite amusing, but if I don’t get on this flight I
will then miss my connecting flight from Barcelona to London. I manage
to convince the security men to let me out again and I run back to the
Ticket Desk. Because my flight is about to leave they tell me there is
no time to give me another Boarding Pass. So I go back up to the Boarding
Gate, and the same stupid man has the cheek to shout at me for being back
late and delaying the flight! I told him all he needed to do in the first
place was to make a phone call to the Ticket Desk himself, because I still
do not have a Boarding Pass anyway. I was let on and I decided to stroll
because the man had annoyed me so much. I found myself being seated next
to a very interesting man, who invites my friends and I to stay at his
beach house in Barcelona. He is an architect and he laughs about me losing
my Boarding Pass, as I recall how many things I have lost in the past:
- 5 Passports
- 8 sets of DJ needles
- Various socks and underwear
- And, eh, my dog.
FRIDAY 14th FEBRUARY 2003
Modelling Shoot - AM
Bed Club, Sheffield - PM
Wake up and go to my modeling shoot, I’m
shooting a brochure today it’s only half a day and Beria came along with
me. She also gets her makeup done so we are all set for going to Sheffield
tonight! I finish around 6.30pm, stop quickly for Chinese in Camden, and
then head for the Marriott Hotel in Sheffield. On the way we catch some
of the Westwood Show - I’m glad everyone is feeling 50 Cent, I’ve been
into him from time ‘How to Rob’ and all that! In fact, I remember having
drinks with him, Nore and Tyson Beckford in Wet Willies, Miami, everyone
was mashed (Call-a-Cab) - well that is what Wet Willies is for!) We arrive
in Sheffield, quickly get changed and get a taxi to the club. We hang
out with the Promoter Justin and the Firin’ Squad who played before me.
Shout out also to J Rugged and Pongo, who always hold it down in the North!
It’s good to see the old crowd, I used to have a residency in Sheffield
years ago. I had a wicked set, Sheffield is an easy crowd to play for,
they love their HipHop! The fire alarm went off for 5 minutes, cutting
all sound and the mic, but it was all good again after that!
Everyone was in the Valentines mood for real, but
we go back to the hotel alone - no after show hotel action tonight baby!
SATURDAY 15th FEBRUARY 2003
Got home real late from Sheffield and chilled out all evening watching
TV and eating chips and chocolate
MONDAY 24th FEBRUARY 2003
Modelling Shoot - Deuce Magazine Photographer
- Cleveland
Hair and Makeup - Philippe Tholimet
I meet Sparky (my PR Agent) at the Millennium Hotel,
Sloane Street. Cleveland is shooting Lisa Mafia, so we go up to the room
to wait. The staff at the hotel are not sure if dogs are allowed, and
I have Bubbles with me. After a while we have to leave because the manager
says dogs or guns are not allowed in the hotel?! Sparky and I are like,
'ok, we'll forget the Berretta next time then'! We go to another location,
a Hair Salon on Greek Street, and they are much nicer. I get my hair and
makeup done, looks phat, and shoot outside against a brick wall. The pictures
look heavy, and we shoot a few head shots for our books. This shoot will
be out in Deuce Magazine in two months time.
FRIDAY 28th FEBRUARY 2003

Arrive at Sound, meet up with Devon and Tyrese.
Go on after Scully, had a great time as usual. And, what what to the guys
