FRIDAY 8th NOVEMBER 2002
Levis Tour, Scotland
Arrive in Glasgow, a guy called Stewart picked me up. Its really f**king cold - how do you guys deal with this?! We drive to Dundee and go to my hotel. They gave me a smoking room, as I don’t smoke, they upgraded me to the Presidential Sweet, yes, just wish I had someone to share it with! WE go to eat at an Indian restaurant - the best food! Then off to the Uni, and my first night of the Levis Tour. Hanif’s flight is delayed so we have to swap set times, but that’s ok. Meet the promoter, a girl from South London, and we get on really well. Also a nice Puertorican guy called Marco - we chat for hours. I play my set, Haniff arrives, then no time for sleep as I have to go to the airport at 6.00am.

SATURDAY 9th NOVEMBER 2002
Eartch Club, Ireland
Fly to Belfast, now I’m really tired! Check into the Hilton, I love staying here! I sleep for five hours, then go to the gym (am I mad)?! Get ready, have dinner, Sanjit picks me up and we drive to Derry. The crowd seems to be a bit older? I’ve been playing here for about a year now, so I know a few people. Have a great time, say hi to my friends, and the resident DJ who just got married (aarrrggghhh) and before I know it, we’re off back to Belfast - now I’m real tired! Sanjit, and I, still manage to have a conversation about finance. Ah, we have arrived and I’m gonna sleep real well! Good night.

SUNDAY 17th NOVEMBER
Cover Shoot
Shot some really cool swimwear, Nadine ended up painting me gold! Then we shot the Lonsdale collection and I went to sleep with gold paint all over my body.

WEDNESDAY 20th NOVEMBER 2002
Levis Tour, Herts University, Hatfield
On my second night of the Levis Tour, this time I’m rolling with a few of my friends, Beria, Alan and Edwin. We first stop in a bar called the Wellington, West London, before we head out on our journey to Hertfordshire. Al drives fast, so we get flashed by speed cameras all the way there, but it also means before we know it we have arrived. (I have to get that satellite navigation in my whip!) DJ Dodge is playing before me. I’ve had a really good time playing down here, you guys really know your HipHop! Big Up to Abi and the crew, and all you guys that graduated today! Definitely a place I’d like to go back to. Al drives us back to London and we stop off in Brixton to drop a friend off, meanwhile, the car decides to breakdown (bearing in mind the car is 2 days old)! The records get locked in the boot and we end up having to take a cab back to Ed’s house. Being the nice guy he is, he dropped us all home, I eventually arrive at 5.30am.

FRIDAY 22nd NOVEMBER 2002
Levis Tour, Aston University, Birmingham
Third night of the Levis Tour, and having been rushing around all day on castings (one for four hours!) I am feeling a bit lethargic. After four Redbulls and two coffees I feel a bit better! I make dinner for Beria and I, macaroni cheese, and Mugwi eats half of it. We get ready, and Al and Ed pick us up. We have a few problems finding the Uni but eventually we get there because my manager directs us over the phone. I play after DJ Diggs and give out loads of free stuff - my mix CD, records and T-shirts. Afterwards, some guys get me to sign some dollar bills - are they out of their minds?! Need to say Big Up to the guys that used to check me out on Itch 101.15fm!
